An industrial and commercial electrical contractor working on manufacturing, food production and processing sites, and on commercial properties and facilities.
Based on the Gold Coast, working across South East Queensland and Northern NSW.
The business
Sparktech Electrical Maintenance was established in 2024, built on more than 20 years of hands-on industrial electrical experience across manufacturing, food production and operating plant.
The business was set up with industrial electrical work at its core, with the systems, capability and resourcing needed to support operating sites.
A large part of industrial maintenance and breakdown work is diagnostic. Plant that is already installed and running develops faults, and the skill that matters is establishing where a fault actually sits before anything is replaced. That is a different discipline from installation work on new construction, and it is the discipline Sparktech is built around.
Alongside the industrial work we provide reactive and planned electrical maintenance, compliance testing and small projects for commercial properties and facilities. We do not do domestic or residential work.
How we work
Sparktech maintains a core industrial electrical capability and scales projects, shutdowns and shift-cover requirements through a trusted network of experienced electricians and specialist partners.
Personnel are selected according to the competencies, site requirements and scope of the job. We carry out controls and programming work on Rockwell platforms directly, and where a project calls for automation engineering beyond that, we engage trusted automation partners and coordinate their work as part of the overall project.
On site, we work within the systems a client already has rather than imposing our own:
Work is documented as it is completed: certificates of testing and compliance where the work requires one, test result sheets, and job reports with photos.
Electrical maintenance and project work on food production, manufacturing and processing sites across South East Queensland.
Clients
Our background is heaviest in food and beverage and manufacturing, which is where most of our work still comes from.
Who we usually deal with:
Sparktech stays within the electrical work and competencies we are set up to deliver. Where a project requires specialist automation engineering, hazardous-area classification, machine-safety engineering or another trade, we coordinate with the appropriate specialist rather than stretching our scope.
For your records
Licences, services, industries and electrical capability in one document for maintenance, engineering and procurement teams.
Credentials
Licensed electrical contractor in both Queensland and New South Wales, so sites either side of the border are equally in scope.
EEHA-qualified electrical support for hazardous areas associated with combustible dust on food production and processing sites.
Licensing, competency and insurance evidence can be supplied for contractor onboarding, prequalification and tender requirements.
Personnel are assigned to work based on the competencies the task and site require. Where a client's prequalification process asks for detail on how a particular job will be resourced, we provide it.
Service area
South East Queensland and Northern NSW, from Tweed Heads through the Gold Coast, Yatala, Beenleigh and Logan to Brisbane.
